Spend a Few Nights in a Glamping Tent
What better way to spend a romantic getaway than in one of our glamping tents. Then head inside to enjoy a nice bubble bath in your private soaking tub, crawl into your king-size bed with plush pillows and comfy linens and stargaze through the large windows from your bed as you fall asleep cuddling one another. Check availability by visiting our website Getaway Ranch .
Visit Downtown Wimberley
One of the things Wimberley is most famous for is its shops, galleries, and restaurants in the downtown area. Browse the shops along the square for everything from kitchen supplies, furniture, popcorn and wine! Downtown you can also find several art galleries with paintings, sculptures, and photography from local and regional artists.
You will also see many of the boots that make up the “Bootiful Wimberley” art tour. Locals and visitors alike enjoy taking selfies with the boots.
Visit Gruene
One of the things New Braunfels is best known for is Gruene. You can visit the historic Gruene Hall, hit the local shops and boutiques, and enjoy a scrumptious meal at The Gristmill overlooking the Guadalupe River.
Watch a Glass-Blowing Demonstration at Wimberley Glassworks
Here you can watch a live demonstration of how the glass blowing artists make their beautiful glass vases, light fixtures, glassware and art. Tim, the owner and lead designer and glass blower creates a beautiful piece of glass right in front of you while explaining how to achieve all the shapes and color techniques of his art. Because the glass blowing demonstration is held in a warm (from the fire they use to blow glass) and cozy room, it is a perfect spot to get out of the cold.
