Texas Hillside Retreat

The Texas Hillside Retreat is designed with local Texas charm. This large luxury glamping tent is built on the hillside to take advantage of the amazing country views. The views along with the Texas theme make this a perfect place to experience the Texas Hill Country. The Texas Hillside Retreat is our largest tent on the property and was featured on the DIY Network as well as Discovery plus.

The tent is right under 1200 square feet and sits on a 2,200 square feet wrap-around deck. The deck sits 16 feet off the ground to enhance the amazing hill country views. You will enter the tent by accessing the 128-foot hanging bridge. The Texas Hillside Retreat features two large bedrooms each with a king-size bed and the living room features a queen sleeper sofa.  Each bedroom has large picturesque windows where you can relax and take in the beautiful hill country views from inside your bedroom. The tent has a living area, bar height seating area, and a kitchenette which all open up to the front patio through french doors. The kitchenette has a microwave, refrigerator, portable cooktop, Keurig coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and other common kitchen necessities. The large bathroom hosts a soaking tub, walk-in shower, and double vanities. Fresh linens, soft towels and plush robes are provided. The tent is equipped with mini split units to keep each room cold/hot depending on the season.

There is a large hammock along the front of the deck where you can relax, read a book, and spend the night gazing at the stars. Top off the night with a glass of wine in the cedar-wrapped hot tub, or roast some smores on the private balcony firepit.
